Bob Smytherman, Worthing Town Crier, has long supported the club and the annual Speech on the Beach event

Worthing Speakers Club is pleased to host its annual ‘Speech on the Beach’ event on Saturday the 23rd of June at 2pm in Worthing, West Sussex and will have in attendance local Town Crier Bob Symtherman. In previous years the event has been held on a Thursday evening, however the club felt it was time for a change.

“This year we decided to mix it up and move the event to a Saturday afternoon” said Ellie Henderson, Current Worthing Speakers President. “We hope that the change in time and day will promote the club to different people, giving them the opportunity to find out what Toastmasters is all about”.

Town Crier Bob Symtherman was once a member of Worthing Speakers and is a long support of the club, including the annual Speech on the Beach event.

Worthing Speakers Club is a part of Toastmasters International. Members are provided with the opportunity to improve public speaking skills at a pace suitable to their confidence level. The Toastmasters program offers leadership and advanced public speaking training.
