Thakeham Parish Council are seeking to replace their Assistant Clerk. The role combines a focus on communications with other support to the Clerk. Key duties:
• Administering website and Community Facebook page
• Generating other Parish communications
• Liaising with local community groups and media contacts
• Supporting the Parish Clerk, including occasional cover at PC meetings and other duties.
Applicants need good written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy including social media expertise and capacity to work independently.
Work Location: mainly working from home but occasionally from the Parish Office in the Village Hall (Abingworth)
Hours: 30 hours per month (flexible timing)
Monthly Salary: £11.76 -12.73 per hour

Interviews will be held in late March with a view to the successful candidate ideally starting in May 2021.
