What is Sussex Local?
Sussex Local is a full colour, glossy monthly community magazine which is distributed free to over 21,000 homes in West Sussex. The magazine contains relevant and interesting features, competitions, current 'What's On' guides and listings and offers from companies serving the area. The magazine is independently run and published by Kristina Thomas.
Which areas does Sussex Local go to?
Sussex Local is published over four separate editions:
Arundel - also covering Arundel, Amberley, Burpham, Climping, Fontwell, Slindon, Walberton and Yapton (6,100 homes)
Pulborough - covering Pulborough, Bury, Fittleworth, Codwaltham, West Chiltington Village and Common, Marehill and Nutbourne, (4,500 homes)
Findon - covering Findon Village, Findon Valley, Nepcote, High Salvington, Clapham, Patching, Salvington/Selden south of A27. (6,100 homes)
Storrington - covering Storrington, Thakeham, Ashington, Washington, Sullington & Cootham (5,500 homes).
Sussex Local is distributed monthly free of charge.
How much does it cost to advertise?
Rates start at just £10 per month + VAT for a small box in the Business Directory page (minimum booking of 6 months = £60 + VAT). Please see the page 'Advertise' for the full price list including series discounts and leaflet distribution.
Do you offer assistance to charities?
We can help in a number of ways, subject to space availability:
1. We do publish short articles free of charge for charity and not-for-profit community groups, so if you have an article then please email it over. Usually a maximum of 200 words with a high resolution photo. Our deadline is 7th of the month prior to publication.
2. We give a charity discount for advertisements of 25%
3. We can publish your events free of charge. Please put them on the What's On section of our website by 7th of the month prior to publication.
Can I contribute an article?
We welcome well written subissions on topics which are relevant and interesting to our local community. Although we cannot guarantee inclusion due to space restrictions. Please see our Editorial page for details.
